Of the three pilgrimage holidays, Shavuot is the least well-known and observed. It pales even in comparison to the minor holidays on the Jewish calendar such as Hanukkah and Purim. We will study the origins of the holiday, its customs, traditions, and significance for today with Rabbi Vernon Kurtz.
